However, there are those who think that youngsters should choose an occupation their parents have.
In my opinion, teenagers cannot be obliged to their parents’ profession. Firstly, every person has freedom of choice and every person can select own path. It is not right to impose on adults’ career choice because it must be an individual decision. Secondly, youngsters’ interests and preferences can differ from their parents’. Therefore, the quality of work can be at a low level when having a job as your parents have.
Nevertheless, the opponents of this view argue that considering parents’ footsteps is a far preferable option for young people when they are thinking of a future career.
They say that it is easier to gain success in parents’ job because relatives can always help you in any case.
Despite this, I disagree with this point of view. I think that people can gain success in a profession they are interested in much faster. It is primarily considered a talent in a trade to let get a rise or promotion.
In conclusion, even though there is a view that it is a much better alternative to following in parents’ footsteps for young people when choosing a profession, I am firmly convinced that youngsters should make up their own mind.
I really try to do my best when i was writing this essey. Hope, that it will help you in your preparations to the main exams. See you later)
Good luck!
