Lots of people enjoy celebrating holidays. However, for some people a holiday is just a day off.

Nowadays, there are many opposing opinions about whether it is better to celebrate holidays or have them as days off. Some people prefer celebrating holidays, whereas others counter that they should be like days off.

In my opinion, having holidays as days off is far preferable to celebrating them for a number of reasons. Firstly, I do not think that it is necessary to spend time on arranging celebrations. Holidays are the days when people can relax after difficult workdays.

Secondly, during the days off there is no need to prepare for a holiday. This arrangement should be done to celebrate holidays.

However, some argue that holidays need to be celebrated. It is more entertaining. A person can spend time with friends. Moreover, they may go to the parties and dance there. Furthermore, people are supposed to learn about traditions that are related to holidays if they celebrate them.

Nevertheless, I tend to disagree with this opinion. Celebration also includes going to restaurants and bars. It sometimes ends badly. Generally speaking, holidays celebrating is insecure. Moreover, if people want them to see traditions of a holiday, they can search for them on the Internet and find the information.

To sum up, in spite of the fact that some believe that holiday celebration is a better alternative than a day off during holidays, I am sure that considering them as a day for having some time rest is more appropriate.
