In such cases, it is important to listen to your inner voice and find the strength to follow it. I'll try to argue my opinion. In literature lessons, we often analyzed literary works of Russian writers. My favorite is Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy's novel "Roman and the World". Reading the work, we unwittingly imbued with the atmosphere of a secular society of the early nineteenth century.

Falsity, lies, hypocrisy. However, love did not immediately become a "product" of the higher world. They were "reworked" society, and not for the better.
