The future of education - books or computers? пример

Students and teachers have been using books for learning for a long time. However, nowadays electronic devices are gaining popularity and starting to replace regular books even at school. Are they going to replace books completely? I would like to express my point of view on the subject.

In my opinion, computers might be the future of education. First, they can store plenty of information that can be accessed quickly. One computer or another device contains as much information as a few printed volumes. Also, they are easier to carry, because some of them are light and small. Second, sometimes computers might serve as teachers. There are computer programmes which help students learn. They are interactive and can guide a student through the course.

Furthermore, printed books degrade over time, while computers do not.

On the other hand, some people insist books are irreplaceable in education. They claim books are essential because they are better for students' health, while computers are bad for their eyesight and posture.

I do not agree with this opinion. Computers are not always harmful. Modern technology lets electronic devices be improved, new computers have screens which do not hurt people's eyes. As for posture, damage can be avoided by taking breaks from studying. Moreover, books can be harmful too, if a student reads in the dark or slouches while studying.
