The author paints his character with a mischievous and thievish boy. L. Voronkova unequivocally condemns Yashka for his deed: stealing jam from an elderly woman is unworthy. And this is realized by his friend Anton. But Kletkina to repentance is very far: apparently, he has already got used to commit such dirty tricks.
Determine the position of L. Voronkova is not difficult: she does not approve of the actions of the small dirty Yashka.
I share the writer's point of view.
At all times, some people have a need to do dirty tricks to their neighbor. This is more than once written by Russian classics.
Let's recall Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel Crime and Punishment, those chapters describing how Lusine, the little dirty messenger, wanting to discredit Sonya in the eyes of Raskolnikov's relatives, slips her money into her pocket, and then accuses the poor girl of stealing.
The hero of the story of VG Rasputin "Lessons of the French", an eleven-year-old boy, during the hard post-war period, during the period of devastation and famine, moves to the area where there is a school. But it's hard for him to live in a strange place. He studies perfectly, but the hunger that Volodya experiences constantly, does not give him rest. A mother from the village constantly sends him food, but they disappear somewhere. Apparently, the hostess's children steal them. Hunger makes the hero look for ways to make money, and the boy is pushed by the little dirty people who steal his products.
And nowadays the "clever" people from the Internet went further: they opened a forum "Science" Gadology "or a handbook for small dirty tricks", where they give "useful" advice on how to spoil the lives of neighbors or acquaintances who are disliked.
