Some people believe that it is impossible to overcome differences between members of different generations. Do you agree with this statement? What is your opinion?

Everybody of course knows that sometimes adults and kids cannot find common ground. The problem of parents and children is one of the most pressing issues in the modern world. Nowadays there is a great number of people who believe that this question is impossible to solve. Others claim that grown-ups and children must learn to understand each other. Who is right?

From my point of view, we can bridge the generation gap, if we try to meet a halfway.

To begin with, understanding is very important for growing person. Good relationships between its members help to prevent teenagers` suicides and crimes. In addition, adults can become friends with kids, if they try to keep up with modern youngsters` interests. For instance, I personally know many teens who get on well with parents and can rely on them.

Nevertheless, let us consider this problem from some other angle. Some people claim that adults and children will never find common ground. There is a simple reason for it. Grown-ups have another view on what is right and what is wrong. Moreover, most of them cannot keep up with latest trends. Therefore, teenagers think that they are boring.

There is a great deal of truth in what they say, but I still strongly believe that the wall between generations can be broken. Поступаете в 2019 году? If children and parents want to, they can meet each other halfway.

Taking into consideration all mentioned above, I want to say that misunderstanding ruins relationships. Parents should not be so demanding, while kids must be patient to grown-ups.
