Should doctors be focused on profitable activities such as plastic surgery and be looking after rich patients or concentrate more on patients health, no matter how rich they are?

The issue whether doctors should concentrate on patient’s health or try to earn as much money as they can is a controversial one. Some people believe that physicians must pay their duties, whereas others claim that they might focus on profitable activities.

To my mind, doctors are better to care about all patients’ health. Firstly, it is absolutely unfair when someone can get necessary medical treatment and others not. Thus, the rich continues to live his happy life after the severe illness and the poor dies as could not pay for his treatment. Secondly, speaking of plastic surgery, doctor’s job is to cure people rather than fulfill their whim. It is a true fact that millions of human beings have poor health and need strong medical involvement they cannot be provided with due to the lack of doctors. At the same time, some of doctors spend whole their lives on changing some parts of faces or bodies of rich patience.

However, there is another opinion. It says doctors are just average people who want to make good money to provide their families with the necessities.

Unfortunately, I still cannot agree with the statement above. If someone just wants money, he must choose another career. A good doctor must be eager to help others and should have compassion for them as lives of many people depend on him.

In conclusion, I think physicians should care about all people health, although everyone might have their own opinions.
