Chinese will replace English as an international language. This is inevitable as China has the biggest population and the largest growing economy in the world.

Some people think that all planet will soon speak Chinese instead of English as China is one of the most populated and economically developed countries on the globe; others are convinced that English will not lose its importance.

To my mind, English will always be used as main language worldwide. Firstly, it is not hard to learn in general. Chinese, in turn, is considered as one of the most difficult languages because of thousands of hieroglyphs and complicated grammar structures. Secondly, most of the universal issues connected with such important areas as foreign policy, business, education, are being tackled on English.

Its replacement will only cause disorder in the existing system of cross-national interactions.

On the other hand, there is a perception that the influence of English is being reduced in favour of Chinese. One should bear in mind that China itself is a large strong state with sustainable market and widening industrial sector. Consequently, the biggest Asian country is taking world dominance and widespread use of Chinese is a matter of time.

However, I do not agree with the statement above as China, being a part of Asian culture and customs, differs from Europe and America. No matter how developed Chinese economy is, the West may never get fully accustomed to the Asian language. Поступаете в 2019 году? In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that although Chinese market is becoming more essential in the world economy, I believe that Chinese will hardly overtake English.
