A teacher should always be strict.

Nowadays, there are opposing opinions about where children should grow up. Some claim that it is more beneficial for them to live in the country than in a large city, whereas others challenge this view.

In my opinion, it is far preferable for children to grow up in the countryside than in a city for a number of reasons. Firstly, the air is usually clean in rural areas, which is useful for kids’ health.

For example, there is less industry and transport which cause air pollution. Therefore, children can avoid numerous diseases. Secondly, life is less stressful in rural areas because there is almost no crime, no noise, and the pace of life is slower. Hence, children have a chance to live more comfortably in the country.

However, there are those who argue that growing up in a big city is a better choice for children. There are more amenities in the urban areas. For instance, kids have an opportunity to go to parks, museums and theaters.

Nevertheless, I tend to disagree with this point of view. Although big cities offer more facilities, there are many other places for children to spend their time in the rural areas. Besides, inhabitants of cities do not take advantages of their facilities, when rural dwellers try to get the best of both worlds.

In conclusion, in spite of the fact that some believe that growing up in urban areas for kids is a worthwhile alternative, I am sure that they should spend their childhood in the countryside.
